The Blade Scorpion is a monster in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.
Description[]
- "The Blade Scorpion is quick on its feet and quicker to attack. Be wary of its tail, and the darkened hidey holes it favors for sleeping."
- ―Book of Sphinx
- "Fast and deadly with a stinging tail."
- ―Monster Inspector
- "This lobster-like arachnid has a very different jointed tail to the regular scorpion, with twice as much potential to harm. As well as carrying a deadly sting at the tail's tip, the Blade Scorpion's tail itself is just that - a lethal, razor sharp blade capable of scything through armor."
- ―Abydos Museum
Traits, Appearance, and Abilities[]
The Blade Scorpion is the smallest monster that Sphinx encounters. It moves quickly, and its tail features a long, silver blade that moves in a similar manner to its real-life counterpart.
It generally runs in a random direction away from a threat.
Strategy for Sphinx[]
The Blade Scorpion is quite fast. Once you catch up to it, hit it, then capture, or hit it again to kill it.
Locations[]
- Great Wall Entrance I
- Great Wall Entrance II
- Great Wall Entrance III
- Luxor Palace (Non-Respawning)
- Cursed Palace

Trivia[]
- Due to its small size, there are multiple scorpions on display at the museum, despite only one being donated.
- The jar a scorpion spawns from appears to be randomly selected.
