Luxor is a location in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.
History[]
Luxor was an extremely rich area filled with a large palace and a pyramid. However, it was thought to be rather small in area. Luxor Palace served as home to Tutankhamen, Akhenaten, Nefertiti, and other members of the royal family. The Luxor Pyramid served as the location of Tutankhamen's murder and death ceremony.

Connection with Ancient Egypt[]
Luxor is a modern city in Egypt on the same site as the ancient Egyptian city of Waset (Thebes in Greek). It is fitting that the Royal Palace in the game is located in here, as many real-life pharaohs lived and ruled in Waset/Thebes.
Trivia[]
- Thebes is mentioned in the description of the Jewel of Memphis, despite the fact that it and Luxor are synonymous.
- Luxor is the only location in the game where all inhabitants are humans.
